Hammy, if the Bush Tax Cut Expires, it raises everyone's taxes-- an average I've seen in the area of $5,000 or so. Then for Certain Individuals, Obama promises to "Try" (rmember Clinton doing the same?) to cut some taxes by as much as $1500. That's an INCREASE of between 3500 and 5000 for most people.
The economic/tax ignorance of some poeple is astounding. Bigger Earned Income Tax Credits? For poeple who probably would squander it on the lottery any way. They don't pay taxes other than the lottery allready. That's the reason I love the lottery so much. It is ipso facto, a tax on poverty and stupidity. We should come up with a way to do more of this.Instead of confiscate capital from the job creators, that'll be a real stimulus.
And, that is why he lost. And this is part of the reason that BHO will lose. You dont campaign on raising taxes during an economice downturn, regardless of how you want to spin it.
Remember the Bills will come do no matter whose is President. And then they will say oh we don't have the money for your social securty we have to pay Bushes bills.
