C’mon… quite buying the Republican talking points.

As for California being an example of how bad taxes and spending are, I’ve never suggested that CA has it right. They screw things up regularly. Clinton was an example of how responsible tax code and responsible spending can create sustainable economic growth (took W about 2 years to dismantle that and reverse the surplus into a deficit). Clinton was not perfect, but the resulting bottom line was much better than this lame duck of a president. The Republican tax code is a joke, and Republican spending has been anything but responsible.
I will agree with you that Bush does spend money like a drunken sailor. BUT, do you remember what happened right after Bush took over. 911! That was quite expensive for America if I remember correctly. Nice try blaming Bush for the Fannie and Freddy mess. But, they are Democrat programs. The Dems. are the ones that pushed for these loan restrictions to be lifted, because the recipients are THEIR voting base!

Also let's gloss over the fact under Clinton BIN would of been handed over on a silver platter and he refused , or the fact that we could of gave him a dirt nap but Clinton once again refused authorization for the attack.
From Alan Colmes's excellent book:

Here is what Clinton said about Bin Laden:

We knew Bin Laden wanted to commit crimes against America, at the time, 1996, he had committed no crime against America so I didn't bring him here because we had no basis on which to hold him. So I pleaded with the Saudis to take him, 'cause they could have. But they thought it was a hot potato and they didn't, and that's how he wound up in Afghanistan.

It was the Saudis to whom Bin Laden was offered (by the Sudanese) and the Saudis wouldn't take him.

Here's what really happened according to those involved:

U.S. government representatives met with Sudanese officials on terrorism issues on multiple occasions from 1996-2001 in venues ranging from Addis Ababa, to Virginia, Washington to New York, and Khartoum. In none of these meetings, despite repeated requests for detailed information on Bin Laden's network, did the Government of Sudan hand over it's alleged files or provide detailed information deemed of significant operational value by U.S. Government counter-terrorism, law enforcement or CIA officials.

Someone is lying.

Truth told, I think both Bush and Clinton messed up. Neither one of them thought Bin Laden was a big enough problem to deal with. It had nothing to do with politics. No DEM or REP wants terrorist attacks.

But heck that don't matter one bit now does it , after all everything bad in the world is all Bush's fault , even all the problems in the financial world that leads back to dem's like Chris Doodlhead and lispy Barney Frank or the lagrest recipiant's of cash from Freddie and Fannie , why are no investigations going on? If it was all Republicans you bet their would be , and let's not forget about ACORNS involvement or LA RAZA and all of these other groups that are pushing for BHO and committing Voter Fraud in the hopes of placing Obama in power. Nope let's forget about all the connections to corruption and affiliations with Known Terrorists abroad and Domestic and all the endorsements and contributions they are giving good old honest Barry.
Several lies and stupid statements here:

No, not everything is Bush's fault. We don't play the blame game the way you conservatives do.

Why are no investigations going on? Maybe because there's not a crime committed or no voter fraud going on, maybe people are making it up?

I really don't know the answer, but I do know this:

Democratic Ally Mobilizes In Housing Crunch - WSJ.com

JULY 31, 2008

The housing bill signed Wednesday by President George W. Bush will provide a stream of billions of dollars for distressed homeowners and communities and the nonprofit groups that serve them.

One of the biggest likely beneficiaries, despite Republican objections: Acorn, a housing advocacy group that also helps lead ambitious voter-registration efforts benefiting Democrats.

Part of the blame is on your buddy Bush.

Stop saying that Obama is a terrorist or that his friends are terrorists. If they were, our Dept. of Homeland Security would have them in custody already.

Also, stop calling Obama the "Holy One" just because a heckuva lot of people like him more than your so-called "Man of God" McCain.

I don't know when you conservatives will get it through your head that just because somebody yaks up God all the time doesn't mean he's actually religious or follows the Bible. There are people in prison that do that.

Oh heck just let us all forget about all of this don't you feel the guilt to put this Holy one in , boy they even have little kids in California singing his Praises and on Ch 72 on dish network you can watch the man 24/7.
You can watch him 24/7? Even when he's on the crapper? Yuk!

Don't forget about the "truth squads" and the great media that loves him so , what is the matter with all of you , do you forget he is the "ONE"?

Did they actually find evidence of truth squads? Last time I looked, that crap was made up.

You keep saying McCain is the "ONE" so you sound just as silly as any liberal who supposedly says that Obama is the "ONE". Of course, we don't.

Sounds like a terrorist by your own definition. Sounds like an oil bastard by my definition.

I've got to be honest, what's most disturbing about this guy is that he favors Obama (and Democrats generally):
