Obama refuses to put his hand over his heart during the National Anthem

Proper protocol during the national anthem is to stand at attention. You're supposed to put your hand over your heart during the Pledge of Allegiance, which he says and does:

He's attended a Christian church for over 20 years, and some people still say he's a Muslim. Keeeeriiiiiiist! If you look at all the videos on the above page, you'll see that he even introduces the chaplain who leads the senators in prayer.

I appreciate someone with the guts to stand up and say this country has problems that need fixing, rather than just taking the wimpy conservative way out and saying, "this here's the best country in the world" and then doing nothing.

I've talked to people face to face who actually say they're "ashamed to be Amercians" because of all the crap caused by politicians up until now. If she's proud of America now that people have decided to support her husband, then we may be in luck this time around.

You can talk protocol all you want, But it is customary for uniformed military and police to stand at attention and salute while the National Anthem is being played or sung.
