OK. I thought his mother was white though. And if he hates his mother, well he can't smack her around or have a loud argument with her, because of Biden's law.

Where can I find the text of this law, anyway? I'd never heard of it until now.

I fear any politician or party that urges me not to look at history. McCain and Palin want you to forget that this whole freaking mess (Iraq, not catching Bin Ladin, the economy) is the result of a corrupt Republican white house. They cry about blame, and that they are looking ahead. How bad does it have to get for people to stop buying the Republican BS?

Honestly, I’m surprised there are as many supporters of McCain as there are. No wonder Nigerians send those emails to our country. Looking at the polls, we must be easy pickin’s, half the country is willing to buy the same broken product for a third time form the same slick sales people. Really people, really?

Any good driver uses his/her mirrors. Your truck is very small compared to the country, so why vote using less caution than when driving? Of course looking ahead is important, but only the reckless drive without their mirrors.

Drive Safely wrote this on the other McCain/Palin thread, and I wanted to answer it, but that thread is apparently done:

    Quote:
JimmyG--how can you work for Yellow and support McCain? I would think the Teamsters who make sure you get a good paycheck would not like that
DS; how in the world can you ever come up with the thought that I'm supporting McCain? I've only posted about a thousand times that I see McCain as a Democrat in the wrong party, and will not vote for him!!!

What you seem to see is that I criticize Obama as a Marxist (All his progams and agendas fit the criteria); and then you assume with no evidence I'm for McCain. I'm voting for Chuck Baldwin and the Constitution Party, especially after Palin let me down and followed McCain's Talking Points instead of her own thoughts. Now she's for Climate change/ climate control/ cap and trade?????

I was waiting for her to rip Biden's head off when he said "Obama will not raise a single penny of taxes on anyone making under $250,000. " LIAR, LIAR, Pants on Fire!!!!!! Obama's first order of business is to let the Bush Taxcuts expire-- thus raising everyone's taxes. In my case, it will cost me about another $5,500 per year. Then along comes Barrie and "Cuts" that by (maybe) $1,000. Only in Washington will that be a taxcut. To me, that's a $4500 INCREASE....

By the way, answering your quote above: There are more Teamsters voting for McCain on Indy's dock than voting Obama. They understand Obama's plans will put them out of work......There are close to an equal number staying home, or voting "Other"....

Default Obama will cause the next great depression if elected

John McCain is our only hope. My first choice, back when the primaries were going on, barely lost to him.

If Obama is elected along with a Democratic congress, we are looking at the next great depression. I always said that Bill Clinton's and the liberal Democratic party's crap would really take effect years after he got out of the Presidency (I am not putting down the Democrats, just anyone that votes and acts like the liberals do). Sure enough it's here just in time for Obama to finish sinking the boat if he is elected.

Of course the Republican's could have partially headed off some of these things in the first years of the Bush administration, but then 9-11 happened and took the focus off these things. For a couple of years, they and Bush had their hands full keeping that tragedy from throwing our economy in a tailspin. After folks saw that 9-11 wasn't going to sink the boat, it seems that almost everyone went crazy, greed type crazy.

I have mixed feelings about Iraq but Congress had the full inside story and almost all of them voted for that war (Democrats included). At the present, we common people probably still don't have the full inside story but never the less the American voters voted into office a Democratic Congress with a small lead as a result of that war. The actual war lasted only a few weeks, but then the factions rose up and that type fight is a lot worse and lasts longer than a straight up military confrontation.

Joe Biden is an outright liar. I am 58 years old and have been listening to him for years. He made statement after statement that was pure lies in the VP debate. Obama is just about as bad. If these two get into these offices and a liberal led Democratic Congress is kept, they will raise taxes and put in place all kinds of socialistic Govt policies that will cause the already fragile economy to finish crashing.

Do you all have any idea what a depression would be like now? People in the late 1920s and early 1930s all grew big gardens, grew all kinds of livestock, hunted, fished and plenty of other things as a means of every day survival. Now days, hardly nobody does all of these things just to survive. There are millions that have no idea of how to go about surviving without a supermarket on the corner. To top that off, the population has exploded since the last depression too.

Pine trees have replaced firewood friendly hardwoods, piped in water has replaced wells, cars have replaced horses, milk jugs have replaced milk cows, egg cartons have replaced yard chickens and the list goes on and on. How can people survive if there's nothing to eat, drink or keep them warm in the dead of winter? A depression's effects lasts for years!
