Not, "Who do you plan to vote for?" or "Who do you want in the Whitehouse?"
I think McCain will win. But I ain't votin' for him.
Call me crazy, but I happen to like having job security, vacation, healthcare, and a pension. Call me crazy, but I happen to like the idea of having things manufactured right here in America by well paid employees -- who use those good wages to go out and buy more things that were made right here in America -- so that I can haul the in the back of my truck from factories right here in America to stores owned by people right here in America........ But I digress. | I don't think it would be right for me to ask you directly who you were voting for... thats why I worded it that way

He can talk all this crap, but he votes just to raise taxes and grow the govt. His tax plan will never be implemented. He knows it. And most of us know it. That is to get votes. He HAS voted to raise taxes constantly and grow the govt. If he gets in, you will get what you deserve. Go by their voting records, not the campaign B.S. |

I am just wondering since 95% of tax payers will get a tax Break under Obama and 40% don't pay any taxes as it is , that leaves 5% to cover all the load for all the programs that Obama is PROMISING , I am just wondering what happens when those in the 5% decide that it is not condusive anymore to do business in the US and leave who is going to foot the Bill? What is going to happen to those good paying jobs with health care, pensions etc... When those people in that top 5% decide to pull out and find better pastures elsewhere then what are we going to be left with?
Because as we all hope to achieve and strive for better for ourselves so do they and they are in the position to move and act to retain those gains , and 95% of us rely on them for our jobs so then what? And they will relocate don't be fooled that they won't especially with places such as China offering no to very low taxes, and places such as Ireland with low corporate taxes to lure in industry , or third world countries were labor is cheap and regulations non existant, as a business owner or someone with wealth what would you personally choose?
What it breaks down to is playing on everyones envy this time it is class envy plain and simple another strategy to divide and to drum up the vote.

(copied off Kurt's quote of the Obama Plan) Impact of the Obama Tax Plan:
WHO: Married Couple Making $75,000 with two children, one of whom is in college
TAX CUT: $3,700 [includes $1,000 Making Work Pay; $500 universal mortgage credit; and $4,000 college credit net of current college credits]
WHO: Married Couple making $90,000
TAX CUT: $1,00 WHO: Single Parent making $40,000 with two young children and childcare expenses.
TAX CUT: $2,100 [includes $500 making work pay; $500 universal mortgage credit, and $1,100 from Obama expansion of the child care tax credit]
WHO: 70-Year Old Widow Making $35,000
TAX CUT:$1,900
those cuts are to be ASKED for (Not necessarily passed-- remember Clinton's "I've never worked so hard to try to pass a Middle Class Tax Cut, but it's just not there") AFTER the Bush Tax Cuts Expire. So, AFTER a family's taxes go up by $3800, Obam's gonna TRY to MAYBE find a way to "Give " them a way to keep another $1,000 of their own money....
And back to Obama's eliminating Capital Gain Taxes (from the same article): So Obama's gonna take away a 15% tax, (Yeah!); but then move that money to Income Tax-- at 39%!!!! A Family Business (or your Retirement Investments) suddenly is added to your income-- making people that normally are everyday wage earners way over the $250,000 threshold that Obama wants to punish.
Income Taxing is Nothing but Petty Jealousy and straight from Marx's Das Kapital. Eliminate it; go with the Fair Tax!!!!!!!
On another note, also to Kurt-- Who's gonna have a business here in America to work for, when all capital gains are taxed as income? The Luxury Tax tried in the late 80's/early 90s proved without a doubt-- tax the rich, the rich stop buying-- the aerage Joe gets laid off.......
"making work pay"?????? You mean they don't already? Corporations don't pay taxes. They pass them along-- we pay their taxes. Punishing them thru "Windfall Profits Taxes" won't work....$4,000 college credits, paid for HOW? Remember John Kerry's Plan was toadd that cost to gasoline taxes, raising each gallon by at least $1.00; I for one do NOT want to add another $1.00 to the cost of a gallon of gas.....
Most of Obama's plans are paid for thru "Savings" from not fighting in Iraq. First, he denounces spending the $10 Billion a month as wasteful deficit-- then he plans to use that spending that he detests. Secondly, he has admitted he has to keep troops there, so where's the real "savings?"

| not in the liberal mind. See that is what you should have been paying the whole time. Surprised he will not issue penalties for all the missed taxes.
Class warfare. Instead of trying to boost everyone up, the Dems want to bring everyone down. Quote: |
5% decide to pull out and find better pastures elsewhere then what are we going to be left with
| the Left: that will never happen
the Right: look at Detroit or Cleveland or Michigan or even BHO home town of Chicago. All that can leave have left so you are left with those that just sponge off the system and dont pay in. Fear not, ACORN makes sure they get to the polls. Nice and early and often.
The last Dem to cut Taxes was JFK almost 50 years ago. Since then, all the Dems have done is raise them. I remember Clinton saying that, I hardly doubt he even tried. In the Lefts mind, every dime is their to spend as they see fit.
Missed opportunity: in the snoozer debate, BHO kept saying how "95% of Americans were going to get a tax cut." McCain should have put him on the spot and asked if BHO intended to leave the Bush tax cuts in place.
BHO would have said no because they were only for the rich, then McCain could have nailed him.
If he would have said yes (which I highly doubt) he could have brought up how BHO intended to pay for all his new spending while cutting taxes for 95% of Americans?
Finally, will anyone have a full time job if BHO becomes president. The impression I get is that healthcare will be mandatory. If the company does not provide it, they will be fined. Thus, I could see a lot of companies switching from full time employees to part time so they dont have to provided benefits thus avoiding a govt fine. Then everyone can get the same coverage as congress. How much does that cost?
Liberals, great at spending other peoples money.
