I don't know what the wide arrray of offenses were that I listed -- your comment baffles me. But yes, I find it offensive when one group of people use the government to enable themsleves to suck up all the wealth that american workers create -- denying the people who actually created teh wealth from shareing in it. John Edwards is not on the ticket. However, if you don't think there are two americas -- one group of americans that owns wealth and uses their wealth to make money and one group of americans who own no wealth and uses their backs to make money -- you are delusional.

Read Ike's Republican Platform from his election. You will be shocked. It is pro-union, pro-minimum wage, and very liberal by todays republican AND democratic standards.

i would say, Marx's premise (his discription of the situation)was correct, his solution was wrong. But again, what marx has to do with anything in 2008 is a mind twister.
