DS; how in the world can you ever come up with the thought that I'm supporting McCain? I've only posted about a thousand times that I see McCain as a Democrat in the wrong party, and will not vote for him!!!
What you seem to see is that I criticize Obama as a Marxist (All his progams and agendas fit the criteria); and then you assume with no evidence I'm for McCain. I'm voting for Chuck Baldwin and the Constitution Party, especially after Palin let me down and followed McCain's Talking Points instead of her own thoughts. Now she's for Climate change/ climate control/ cap and trade?????
I was waiting for her to rip Biden's head off when he said "Obama will not raise a single penny of taxes on anyone making under $250,000. " LIAR, LIAR, Pants on Fire!!!!!! Obama's first order of business is to let the Bush Taxcuts expire-- thus raising everyone's taxes. In my case, it will cost me about another $5,500 per year. Then along comes Barrie and "Cuts" that by (maybe) $1,000. Only in Washington will that be a taxcut. To me, that's a $4500 INCREASE....
By the way, answering your quote above: There are more Teamsters voting for McCain on Indy's dock than voting Obama. They understand Obama's plans will put them out of work......There are close to an equal number staying home, or voting "Other".... |
Letting the Bush Tax cuts expire raises taxes mostly on the wealthy.
I would follow that other guy's advice and have another accountant refigure your taxes. I'll be honest I don't know much about the busines end of trucking, as in being an O/O. Seems to me that if there was money to be made in actually owning the truck, these companies that lease O/O's would own the trucks themselves, but I don't know.
If Obama can get the trade deals done away with, then more people wil have money to spend, thus causing demand for more consumer goods an etc., and thus, more freight for us to haul.
He also needs to order an investigation into why the fuel prices are so high. I think it has more to do with shenanigans within fuel companies than anything else. Just like I believe the rising cost of health care is due to shenanigans on the part of those in that industry. More regulation would definitely help in these areas.

It was deregulation of the banking industry that allowed everyone to run amuck. Greed has always been there and always will be. McCain and Bush and their “Get government out of the way” policy that got us here. Look it up. Reduced limits on lending and other slashes in oversight is what let people run wild. It’s amazing how this is Clinton’s fault somehow. Please quit buying the BS, it‘s costing the rest of us money and work.
McCain, who does not fully understand the economy (his own words) will drive our economy even further into the dirt. Cutting taxes does not create jobs, no matter how you figure it. New industry creates jobs. Alternative energy. That stuff has to be transported=good for us drivers.
The Republican party has been selling snake oil for a very long time. I know, I used to be a customer. McCain used to be unique, but now he pedals the same crap. Too bad, he used to be a maverick, but now he’s just a stooge.

I'm voting McCain because Obama is from Illinois, and the last thing this country needs is an Illinois politician in the White house. How much scandal can you handle?

I'm done with scandal, i.e. the "New" Republicans. Karl Rove, Larry Craig, Dick Cheney, Ted Haggard, Dick Cheney, W, Scooter, Dick Cheney, Gonzales, Dick Cheney...
I could go on.

The polls show a clear winner by almost every metric. Obama.
Comments about Obama being a terrorist or a muslim or hating this country, are made by ignorant individuals. In their case they are so blinded by their prejudices and hatred for a black man they will latch onto anything to try to justify that hatred.
To those that choose ignorance (by making these comments) over enlightenment and education; You are prime examples that prejudice, intolerance, and racism are alive and well in this country. | How do you figure?
We have people here from every state, and all walks of life....
Maybe just maybe the polls the media are taking are slanted...
His skin color does not concern me in the least
I just don't like the "color" of the mans politics.
