| | I admit it,,,so does Sarah..
I am a mental disorderly...but Sarah Palin will stick by me...So if you want the mentally disordered to be a liability...keep calling me mentally disordered. Deuce. 'liberalism is a mental disorder' (I'm not a liberal...but I am mental!!!

You started to woo me until you got to the 'expected'. Huh? Why on earth would anyone vote for 4 or 8 more years of the same?
|
By expect I meant by knowing pretty much what McCain will do. I didn't mean I expect things to be exactly the same. But I must say up until 2 years ago I was much better off. I'm still better off on some things.
Saying that I do not want the change that obama will bring. I don't want more government program handouts, I don't want higher taxes to pay for those handouts, I don't want an inexperienced person as Chief, I don't want someone that hides everything in office. Like I said no one is perfect but obama has no idea what he is doing and he wants to change too much too fast and cause major problems. If I had to choose between the last 4-8 years and obama's change. I would definitley keep what we have. |

| | Quote - USA TRKR:George Bush has been in office for 7 1/2 years. The first six the economy was fine.
A little over two years ago:
1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;
2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;
3) the unemployment rate was 4.5%.
4) the DOW JONES hit a record high--14,000 +
5) American's were buying new cars, taking cruises, vacations overseas,
living large!...
But American's wanted 'CHANGE'!
So, in 2006 they voted in a Democratic Congress and yes--we got 'CHANGE' all right.
In the PAST YEAR:
1) Consumer confidence has plummeted;
2) Gasoline is way overpriced;
3) Unemployment is up to 5.5% (a 10% increase);
4) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $12 TRILLION DOLLARS
and prices still dropping;
5) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.
6) as I write, THE DOW is probing another low~~
$2.5 TRILLION DOLLARS HAS EVAPORATED FROM THEIR STOCKS, BONDS
& MUTUAL FUNDS INVESTMENT PORTFOLIOS!
YES, IN 2006 PEOPLE VOTED FOR CHANGE...AND WE SURE GOT IT! ....
REMEMBER THE PRESIDENT HAS NO CONTROL OVER ANY OF THESE ISSUES, ONLY CONGRESS.
Rep. Ed Markey called for major oil companies to support a measure to give up $18 billion in tax cuts and channel the money into renewable energy.
The measure passed the House earlier this year but later died in the Senate, in April 2008.
AND WHAT HAS CONGRESS DONE IN THE LAST TWO YEARS, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.
Congressional ratings first hit nine percent (9%) back at the beginning of July, marking the lowest ratings recorded by Rasmussen Reports.
Ratings hit the same low two weeks later. Congress has not received higher than a 15% approval rating since the beginning of this year.
NOW THE DEMOCRATIC CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT CLAIMS HE IS GOING TO REALLY
GIVE CHANGE ALONG WITH A DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS!!!!
JUST HOW MUCH MORE 'CHANGE' DO YOU THINK YOU CAN STAND? Quote:

BTW... gas was NOT $2.19 two years ago... more like over FOUR years ago, just before the election. The major jump in gas prices happened just after Bush was re-elected President in 2004. Right around the time Bush and his cronies were being harranged regarding all those no-bid and secretive contracts with companies like Haliburton, who just happen to be in control of....gas and oil refineries. Sweet! Ah yes... one party had total control. Gas prices jumped over 20% right after the election.
None of you "get it". This that is happening now, started with policy screwups going back at least 30 years to Carter and Ford. Y'all need a history lesson or three. I wouldn't vote for either party candidates on the whole, though there are some good ones out there, like Jeff Flake (R) in AZ. But there aren't many.
Stop voting for Republicans and Democrats like sheep being led to the slaughter, and you'll see a change. lol Vote for the same and get the same... 80-90% of all of 'em are crooks, but y'all vote for 'em anyway and then argue about who's better... got a news flash for ya... NONE of them are better. They all belong to the same country club. IF they wanted change, there would be change. Period.

Really? You would like to have another 8 years of what we have had rather than take a chance? That's the exact reason we are in the shape we're in. "Yeah, it hurts hitting my head with a hammer, but I'm going to keep doing it because, well, it's what I've always done."
"Change to fast and cause major problems." WTF????? What do you consider the state of the country right at this moment? Your "brand" voted right along with everyone else for the big bailout, and so far, it hasn't done anything. McCain is for government take over of the banks. (And you guys say Obama is a socialist!!!)
Look, the definition of insanity is continuing to do the same thing over and over and expecting a different result each time.
Just because McCain was a POW does not make him Presidential material. Being a hero does not a president make. Pull the flag from around your eyes and realize we need someone who hasn't invested their lives in the latrine that we call DC. You get mired in the muck.
We cannot afford another 4 years of bush. Take a look at your 401K.

Now is not the time for taking a chance....certainly not on someone with zero experience, a record of "do nothing" in the senate except campaign for the presidency, who couldn't hold a single hearing on the committee he did chair (Afghanistan), who's idea of turning the economy around is to yank everything he can from your wallet and mine and hand it to the lazy who don't want to work. please dont tell me about tax cuts for 95% of families, blah blah blah, he is going to let the Bush tax cuts expire, driving tax rates way up, then give you a little break off the new (Clinton) rates, and then try to sell you what a great deal he got for you..sorry, Casper, I can see right through you, go sell your program to the welfare recipients, they are hearing you loud and clear...
