Why don't some of you people, and I use that term liberally, have the balls to come out from behind the anonymity of your computer and admit that you hate the idea of having a black man as President?

Default It is a proud day in America

It is a proud day in America for all those US citizens that have had the courage and foresight to elect the first mixed color (black) man in our nations history to the highest office in the land.

I am proud of the citizens that did not let prejudice, fear, or the attacks from all quarters, compel them to vote against Barack Obama. The majority have spoken loud and clear; Barack Obama is OUR new president.

To the members of this forum that could not vote for Obama; "I leave it to each one of you to look deep within yourself and decide for yourself whether it was a race based decision or not." I truly hope we can finally close the chapter on racism within this country once and for all.

Why are you mentioning race?

Why are you mentioning race?

I mention it in an attempt to drag out of the closet the people that have been brainwashed to believe that they are superior to another based on the color of their skin.

I am sure if you took the time to review some of the posts attacking Obama on this site and others you would see the racist comments.

I do not require each member to swear they are not racist. Think about it for yourself. If you are a racist then change it. If your not then dont worry about it.

We must all be vigilant against intolerance and do our part to move forward on a societal level regardless of our skin color, our culture, our name, our ancestry, gender, or even religion.
