soonk, I'll sort of include you on this one, but mostly aimed at sparky: No person separates his belief system from his governing. Otherwise he has No Beliefs, and that isn't possible. Sparky-- do you then honestly believe Obie is NOT governing via his Marxist Tenets??? Is that Not a Belief????? Does the Democrat National Party not do everything possible to drive God OUT of Politics???? That's a Belief System.

The Bible tells Christians: (paraphrased) "You cannot serve two masters." And "You are either of God, or of Man". Either we are with God, or we're a'gin Him......there really is no middle ground. He can't be turned on for some events of our lives, then turned off for others....

Still never answered my question. All you do is throw a bunch of scriptures at me. Realistically why build a road or do anything for society if one is to truly believe Soon Real Soon the end according to revelations is coming. That would have to effect your political beliefs. Than what if your wrong. The roads did not get built or maintained peoples needs were not taken care of. Your system of government has failed.

You just dont want to hear, you have watched way too much television. You see the Bible tells you whatever your waiting for, or you are sure is going to happen, if big or small. A new baby to be born, your wedding day, a coming vacation, or the end times, to continue on living your life following Christs example. Being honest, hard working, keeping your word and commitments. You would be disobeying God if did not do the right thing in the here and now, because you might think Christs return is soon or the rapture is around the corner. And more importantly you would be setting a bad example in front of all the sparkys in the world. The only thing Christians can take with them to Heaven is other people that come to Christ through their example that they live each and everyday. And if the time is short, as so many Christians believe, then now is the time to be a good example by finishing that road, keeping your word, and being a friend to the friendless. Caring for the person that no one else cares for.

sparky, we've said over and over, we would do what the Bible tells us to do-- work as well as we could until and thru the Day; you aren't listening-- you have your mind closed. I reject your premises, so why continue?

You always seem to then drift into your preconcieved notion that a Christian will start the big battle when that simply isn't true-- a Non-Believer will cause it thru his Marxist/Government must be god worshipping of Man's Laws.
