Car, Tractor-Trailer Crash On I-85
One Person Injured In Crash


Three people were recovering from injuries on Sunday after a wreck on Interstate 85 in Cherokee County.

Troopers said a man in a pickup truck made an illegal lane change while traveling southbound at mile marker 95 Sunday morning.

That's when the truck hit a tractor-trailer, causing it to run off the road and hit a bridge column, officials said.

An ambulance took the driver and passenger in the truck to a local hospital. The driver of the tractor-trailer was airlifted.

There's been no word on their conditions.
