The left northbound lane of Interstate 83 between the Maryland Line and Shrewsbury (Exit 4) was closed Wednesday morning when a job trailer blew off the tractor-trailer hauling it, officials said.
As of 12:18 p.m., the lane was reopened, according to the state Department of Transportation.
During the closure, northbound traffic was still able to pass on the right lane, state police said.
PennDOT had expected to take several hours cleaning up the job trailer and reopening the left northbound lane.
High winds picked up the trailer and blew it off the tractor-trailer hauling it, police said.
