State police increase patrols on Interstate 95

For one day, Virginia State Police plan to triple the number of troopers along a 13-mile stretch of Interstate 95 in the capital region.Thursday, troopers will be conducting "saturation" patrols in the Highway Safety Corridor around Richmond. The effort is to promote traffic safety in an area that experiences a high volume of traffic and numerous interchanges.
