State Sen. President Pro Tempore Joe Scarnati, R-25 of Brockway, is sponsoring a transportation plan that will repeal Act 44 and eliminate the possibility of tolls on Interstate 80, and he came to The Progress office yesterday to talk about the details. He said his plan is "doable, makes real fiscal sense and brings real sanity on how we fund transportation.
