Commercial vehicles traveling Virginia's highways are undergoing mandatory inspections as part of a national safety effort.Authorities announced the 72-hour Roadcheck 2008 campaign Tuesday. Virginia State Police troopers and supervisors are looking for safety violations and threats on highways and at weigh stations across the state.
