The state Transportation Board on Thursday voted unanimously to ask a state committee to stop stalling a proposal to add toll lanes along Ga. 400. Private companies first proposed the project, to add optional toll lanes to Ga. 20, in a different form in December 2004. It ran the gantlet of Department of Transportation planners and number crunchers, and has sat on the evaluation committee’s doorstep since Nov. 20, 2006.
