(North Carolina) Transit board adopts bold regional plan for trains, buses
A board of metro Atlanta political and transportation leaders Thursday adopted an ambitious plan for a network of bus and passenger rail lines that would criss-cross the region by 2030. The Transit Planning Board, made up mostly of county commission chairmen and heads of the region’s transit agencies, voted unanimously to adopt “Concept 3” as a vision of what a coordinated regional transit system should look like in the coming decades.
