CHICAGO -- In an amazing story of heroics, a truck driver risked his life to save two people from a burning vehicle in downtown Chicago overnight.
The driver said he saw an overturned Jeep engulfed in flames near Wacker Drive and Congress Parkway at about 1 a.m.
Using his pocket knife, the driver, Anthony Bruno, managed to cut the seatbelts of the two men and pull them from the burning vehicle.
"I had a knife. I came back, cut both of their seatbelts off and I was dragging them one at a time," Bruno said. "I was glad that I was able to save them."
