If and when I get around to buying a new cpu it will not be a Dell. This last one I had an in home service contract that wasn't worth the paper it was printed on. Both of my hard drives crashed and burned. I called Dell and told them I had the in home contract deal and when could someone come fix the problem. Well, it seems they outsource all of their in home stuff to one person in Austin, TX who then outsources it to individual people. What a joke!! It took me 3weeks to get the person to my house, when it was convient for him. He ordered the hard drives and it was another 3weeks b4 he made it back to my house. Well, duh they sent the wrong hard drives so he orders them again and it is another 2weeks before the drives arrive at my house and another 2weeks b4 he makes it back out to install them. Just send them to me and I will install them next time..good grief charlie brown it isn't rocket science!! Needless to say I was not a happy camper. I tried to get ahold of this person in Austin, TX but his answering service refused to give me his phone number and address and Dell wasn't any better, every time I called them they automatically connected me to some foriegn person who I couldn't understand who would start reading from their cue cards about what to fix. I was livid to say the least and I filed a complaint with my attorney generals office and Better Business Bureau. They deserve what they get!!
