 Truck windows shattered by freeway sniper

ROSEVILLE - A sniper - possibly using a small-caliber pellet or BB gun - shattered the passenger windows of two big-rig trucks at about 5:15 p.m. today on westbound Interstate 80 near the Atlantic Street exit.
The California Highway Patrol, the Roseville Police Department and Union Pacific Railroad police combed the area around the railroad tracks on the west side of the freeway, searching for the sniper. At least two helicopters circled overhead looking for signs of the culprit.
