Default Biodiesel from chicken fat.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The rising cost of soybean oil is allowing another unique biodiesel cocktail to take flight -- this one made from chicken fat.
According to Associated Press, two oil businessmen have realized they can take the slimy stuff from a Tyson Foods Inc. poultry plant in Missouri and turn it into a boutique fuel for the trucking industry.

Jerry Bagby and a longtime friend are building a $5 million biodiesel plant, which will produce annually about three million gallons of the chicken-soy biodiesel combo.

yo cookie....

'schmaltz' is the yiddish word for chicken fat....

my grandmother used to render it off of chicken skin when i was a kid....

when it was done, there were things called 'greevenahs' that were like pork skins are today but, made out of chicken skin, YUMMY.....

you aint lived 'til you've had potato pancakes fried in schmaltz....

stuff had a unique flavor.........

OK but here is one that is better.

FIFE — As the machinery mounted on a flatbed truck chugged and rumbled — purportedly converting landfill trash into diesel fuel — Issaquah entrepreneur Michael Spitzauer spoke confidently about how he and his company, Green Power, were out to reshape the world.

The first plant, Spitzauer says, is to open next year on tribal land in this Tacoma suburb; a second, in Montana, soon after. Within a decade, 1,500 plants are to open across the country, all simultaneously solving the solid-waste and imported-oil problems.
