You know, we are just idiots here. But anybody with room temperature IQ can see things are not looking good. All the so-called experts and the government keep putting out these meaningless statistics that show everything is doing pretty good. I don't know about you, but all I have to do is go outside and see things are not good. I go the the grocery store, the gas station, wherever and things are getting noticeably more expensive. I moved into a new subdivision two years ago. There are 185 lots here. 54 have been built on, and nothing new has happened for 18 months. Plus, six of the existing houses are in foreclosure and being offered at 2/3 their original price. But nobody is biting. They sit empty, and nobody even looks at them. And that is the way it is all around here for miles, with one exception - Boulder. Boulder is this upscale, elitist college town. Things over there are just hunky-dorry. It's like the haves are doing better and the have-nots are doing worse. I'm not surpised, are you?
