Default Roadwork on I-5 in Stockton, CA 7/20/08 - 7/26/08

Stockton - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will be working on Interstate 5 (I-5) in Stockton. Crews will be working to replace slabs on the roadway at the locations listed below. All ramp closures will take place alternately. No two consecutive ramps will be closed at the same time.

• The #2 and #3 (middle) and the auxiliary lanes on northbound I-5 from Charter Way to March Lane on Sunday, July 20, 2008, through Friday, July 25, 2008, from 7:00 p.m. until 5:30 a.m.

• The #1 (left), #2 and #3 (middle) and the auxiliary lanes on southbound I-5 from Charter Way to March Lane on Sunday, July 20, 2008, through Friday, July 25, 2008, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

• The off-ramps between Charter Way and March Lane on northbound and southbound I-5 on Sunday, July 20, 2008, through Friday, July 25, 2008, from 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.

• The on-ramps between Charter Way and March Lane on northbound and southbound I-5 on Sunday, July 20, 2008, through Friday, July 25, 2008, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

Motorists can expect 20 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.

This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change based on weather conditions.

The contractor for this $1 million project is California Engineering Contractors Inc. of Pleasanton, CA.
