Roadwork on NB I-5 & EB SR-120 near Manteca, CA 7/27/08 - 8/3/08
The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will be closing multiple lanes on southbound Interstate 5 (I-5) and State Route 120 (SR-120) in the Mossdale Wye area in San Joaquin County.
• Monday, July 28, 2008, 9:00 p.m. until Tuesday, July 29, 2008, 7:30 a.m.
The #3 (right) lane and right shoulder on northbound I-5 from the San Joaquin River Bridge to the I-5/SR-120 separation will be closed. Crews will also be closing the #2 (right) lane and right shoulder on the connector ramp to eastbound SR-120.
• Tuesday, July 29, 2008, 9:00 p.m. until Wednesday, July 30, 2008 7:30 a.m.
The #1 (left) and #2 (middle) lanes on northbound I-5 from the San Joaquin River Bridge to the I-5/SR-120 separation will be closed.
• Wednesday, July 30, 2008 11:00 p.m. until Thursday, July 31, 2008 9:30 a.m.
All lanes on northbound I-5 from the San Joaquin River Bridge to the I-5/SR-120 separation will be closed. The detour will be as follows:
o East on SR-120 to Yosemite Avenue off-ramp
o North on Yosemite Avenue to the westbound SR-120 on-ramp
o West on SR-120 to northbound I-5
• Thursday, July 31, 2008, 9:00 p.m. until Friday, August 1, 2008, 8:30 a.m.
The #3 (right) lane on northbound I-5 from the San Joaquin River Bridge to the I-5/SR-120 separation will be closed. Crews will also be closing the connector ramp to eastbound SR-120. The detour will be as follows:
o North on I-5 to Louise Avenue off-ramp
o The Louise Avenue on-ramp to southbound I-5
o South on I-5 to eastbound SR-120;
• Saturday, August 2, 2008, 11:00 p.m. until Sunday, August 3, 2008, 10:00 a.m.
The #2 (middle) and #3 (right) lanes on northbound I-5 from the San Joaquin River Bridge to the I-5/SR-120 separation will be closed. Crews will also be closing the #1 (left) lane on the connector ramp to eastbound SR-120.
Crews will be paving in this location.
Motorists should expect 30 minute delays. Alternate routes should be taken whenever possible.
This work is scheduled to begin as listed, but is subject to change based on weather conditions.
The contractor for this $14.3 million project is Nehemiah Construction of Modesto, CA.
