I just thought I'd pass on this info...

Road Check 2009 will be June 2nd through June 4th. It's also know as "The 72 hour checksite". Normally what happens is the checksite is ran for 72 consecutive hours (in states that don't have full time check stations).

With budget problems, some states are electing to run three 24 hour checksites in differant areas of their state for one 24 hour period to hold down fuel and overtime costs for officers. You may want to check with your state, or check the states along your route.
