40-foot trailer with
footwear stolen
US Customs Service investigating

HOWARD CITY, Mich. (WOOD) - A semi-trailer loaded with footwear was stolen from the distribution center of Wolverine World Wide early Monday morning.

The thieves brought their own semi-truck to remove a 40-foot long shipping container that was mounted to a flat bed semi trailer chassis. It's unknown exactly how much footwear was in the container when it was stolen.

The container is grey and features the logo of the company MAERSK.

Because the shoe business is global, the United States Custom Department is involved in the investigation.

Hope they put their best "gumshoe" or "flatfoot" on the case

And when the flatfoots find em,put a boot up there ***.

Hope they were those cheap $10 sneakers that fall apart the first time you try and climb rocks or go hiking w/them.
