i just downloaded and installed the firefox browser some of you are swearing by.

it'll take me some time, and if i like it, i'll. keep it.

i can see right now, how the spell check is working, as i am purposely mis-spelling some words right here.

well its taking some time, yes, i can see "SOME" speed on downloading SOME websites. there still seems to be a bit of a "lag" here on these boards however.

i think that with some tweaking, the fire fox may be my default browser for a while as well. BUT, the jury is still out on a final verdict.........

well.........i'm having the SAME OL' PROBLEMS here with this website....

slow loading, slow transfer to boards, slow opening "reply" buttons, slow, this, slow that........

and ITS ONLY HERE..........

NO OTHER website i go to is as slow as this one.........

and i'm using FireFox, the most current version, with its update.......,and Adobe Flash player (from firefox), and shockwave, again, from firefox..........

but THIS website still loads slow.........

i'm constantly waiting for "transfers" between the boards.

i'll try and copy/paste the script here in a bit.

i cannot copy/paste, but it basically says, "waiting for transfer", or "waiting for data from truckingboards.com".

its NOT quick getting to ANY of the boards.

my pc is NOT running anything in the background, other than Avast Anti-virus, which always runs in the background.

my pc is maleware and virus free, and trojan horse free. it has been "de-fragged" , and all temp files have been cleaned out. in fact, other than cookies, the temp files get cleaned out every time i shut down the browser.

now, i went to "submit" this entry, and it took SEVERAL SECONDS< because it was "reading www.truckingboards.com" was in the status bar.
