Hey guys
I am a ex Wally Driver out of the Hermiston Or. D.C.I left because I was doing a store load out of Loveland and got a phone call from my then 6 1/2 yr old son crying and wanting to know when I was coming home.I went from being a log truck driver (home every night)to being gone on the 3/2 program.It tore me up,I went back to the DC and told my situation to my manager,gave two weeks and came back to a local company as a driver supervisor.I was told to come back whenever I felt my kids could handle it.It killed me to leave Wally because lets face it,as far as I am concerned,there is no better driving job.My son is now 9 and I still keep in contact with some of the drivers I hired on with,my question is do you think I should make that phone call and get back with Wally??They are hiring in Hermiston and I miss the job something feirce.Sounds like a Dear Abby question huh.Drive Safe
