Can you take a position at a DC and then transfer to a different location?

If so, how long before you can transfer and do you have to wait for an opening?

I applied at Tobyhanna and got called for an interview. Woodland is the closest to me but they aren't hiring right now. Should I go to work at Tobyhanna to get my foot in the door or just wait until Woodland is hiring? I don't really want to work out of Tobyhanna but figured it would get me in. If I won't be able to transfer to Woodland later, I won't even go to the interview at Tobyhanna.
What do you guys think?
