I haven't used a ComCheck for Fuel yet I have for the random uses of Lumpers.
Do you have a ComCheck booklet?
If so then the instructions should be upon it.
There ARE Drivers here at TB that use ComChecks and can You, the ones that use them, come forward please with some info??
Thank You.
thanks for your reply ,.I'm about to get back on the road after 3 years off helping my brother with his job building homes .what I'm trying to get at is are they still using com checks for fuel at truck stops .OK and yes i do no how to use them .but Ive read in a forum that some truck stops were not letting driver use pump just say 50 gallons with out leaving a $500.00 deposit at the fuel desk. with things changing i just wonted to no more about fueling useing com checks.
no you use the pronto pay at the pump. some companies don't even have you sign the fuel ticket. comcheck is accepted everywhere for the most part. flying j they don't take comcheck
Because of the fuel crisis cash paying customers need to pay at desk 1st. Most companies use fuel cards and can swipe them at the pump with no need to go inside !st. Companies like Pilot you can go inside after furling and get receipt from kiosk with no problems. All major companies except Flying J still use comdata.
