I need some opinions on the sleep number bed.
I can sleep on anything, probably even old crushed up cardboard boxes.
Now my wife she has trouble sleeping on expensive beds.
When we first were married we had the traditional box springs, and Mattress.
That first cheap bed fell apart, and we had the top mattress sitting on the floor for a couple of years.
Then we went and bought a soft side water bed.
That fell apart,so we purchased a water bed frame, with a book case head board.
We had that bed for about 25 years.
The heaters would burn out,and we had to drain all the water out to replace the heater.
My wife got sick of doing that so we bought a Sterns, and Foster Box spring, and mattress.
It has a 20 year warentee, and we've had the top mattress replaced once in just under 2 years with the newer mattress well on its way to being junk.
That set cost us a little over $2500.00.
My wife is trying to talk me into buying the Sleep Number bed, thats actually an air bed with two controls.
We've always had King sized beds because I'm 6'2" tall.
These are really pricy,around $4500.00
Theres also one thats called Select Comfort that one seems to be a knock off on the Sleep Number, but its around 3 grand.
Then I saw something else called Zero Gravity beds, they are around 5 grand for a king size.
Unless you want to go for there top of the line which raises up from your waist to your head.
That comes in at around $8700.00.
So here I am looking for opinions on this stuff from all of my truckingboard friends, before I go into hock for one of these beds.
Thanks for your help.
