I was wondering if anyone from a terminal other than LCP has ever experienced violence in the workplace? We have had several instances of workplace violence amongst individuals. Some instances were so severe that the Pennsylvania State Police had to be contacted because it seems to be acceptable that some individuals can act in such a violent manner. Recently there was an incident between dock professionals Fred W. and Rob L. over the volume of the television that escalated into an episode of violence in the workplace which resulted in the local Authorities having to pay a visit Sunday night. Now Fred W. has a history of workplace violence. Several months ago he went after fellow dock professional Bob G. with a crowbar all because he couldn't wait his turn to load into a trailer. Whats ironic is that this happened right in front of Supervising Professional Mike S. yet nothing happened. Rob L. also has a history of workplace violence including stalking and threatening City Supervisory Professional C.M. and assaulting customers
DHL | Global Thankfully because of the Local Authorites and the intervention of the Pennsylvania State Police, his LTCF was revoked! Nothing became of what went on Sunday night and I'm sure nothing will. Supposedley the police just took statements and names strictly for the record and Fred W. and Rob. L were issued pink slips from S.O.M. R.S. for needlessly wasting company time. Maybe I'm just paranoid I don't know! Just as S.O.M. Barry G. (a.k.a.) Amos said when asked about workplace violence
"Young man you're wrong, we don't have that here"
