I would think that would be grounds for a law suit for spreading lies of that magnitude but this day and time seems like you can get away with just about anything if you have deep enough pockets I would'nt put that sh#t past the
company I drive for but then again our salesmen probably are not that creative??

Default Spreading bs rumors about yellow closing

I saw some paper work today talking about the problems that Yellow is having as a whole and talking with customers what Fedex Freight and National have to offer in case they want to change shippers. It also said not to bash the competition or more or less don't be spreading lies about what you know nothing about.

Fed-ex is not the only company spreading these rumors. Former Overnite is spreading them also. I had a customer ask me last week about Yellow closing. She said that Overnite or UPS freight told her that.
You would think that some of the customers would catch on to these dirty tricks and would stay away from the liars. I really shows the true character of some of these non-union ****** outfits.

I asked our sales and manager about the so called memos and e-mails, There response was, "If this is true, and they have the proof, there could be a big lawsuit!!" What they were told they should say is that if they,(shippers) were thinking of moving there business, that to look where they might, as there could be an implosion if they were to throw it all at one carrier. No matter if it is ABF. Vitran, UPS reddway or Fedex. They were also directed to completly refrain from saying, or implying that there could be a problem with ANY carrier, and if they did, they would be IMMEDIATLY terminated!! I dont know how much clearer that could be, but there probaly is one or two from sales and a few from P&D that just like to stir the pot!! Find them, we dont need or want them!!

We are fellow Union employees, not non- union and we are not being told anything about YRC. All that is being told to customers that the transportation environment is changing daily and that they need to prepare and start shipping with us should anything happen in the transportation environment. There is never any mention of Yellow or any other carrier.
