I can appreciate "good" business and the spirit of competition. I come from an era of trucking when we sold "service." This is before the trucking industry was de-regulated.

It doesn't suprise me that FedEx would stoop to such lows to try and gain market share. Maybe they are trying to recoup the millions they lost in the FedEx Ground lawsuits.

Those "We can do it better" flyers may backfire. This country loves to root for the underdog and good will always triumph over evil.

Now, now CitySlicker calm down. You don't need to defend your company here. This is a thread in the Yellow Roadway forum. You may want to tread lightly on the Teamster bashing. From the sounds of it on this and the other boards your company is in the middle of the biggest anti-union campaign in recent years. The anti union crap that you spew forth must be a live feed from your company break room. The card check has them worried plain and simple.

Now lets move on to the Larry bashing. You don't enjoy reading his posts? Far from illiterate. Nuff said?

I would be mad also if I worked for a sorry non-union outfit too.

I don't think YRC is the only trucking company that is hurting now or the only one closing terminals and laying off employees.

Those are pretty broad numbers.........but even with half the terminals and employees, according to you, YRC will still be in business.

I do pay attention, if anyone here has any suggestions to the remedy of the economic crisis we are currently going through.............let me know and I'll pass it on to the government. DS.
