So because like you said they are screwing us why would follow them into evil and by things not made in the USA? Save yourself and the middle class BUY AMERICAN where you buy it is up to you. It just seems hard to find things like that in a Wal-Mart store

Are you really stupid enough to believe that walmart started the whole china thing? It's called globalazation and it's been happening long before walmart came about. Do you not think Target and Kmart and Costco and all the rest are'nt doing it. Look around you, America used to be a producer, now all we do is warehouse stuff. You work for a union company and you don't think you're trucks are not picking stuff up at the ports, helllloooo. Do you think that big container ship went from Charleston to LA,no it came from CHINA. I love how everything is walmarts fault. You've pissed me off now i'm done with you.

I understand many's concerns with this, but I have to add that my wife works for Wal*Mart, I am not at liberty to say too much here, but I have to say that in these hard economic times, that I am thankful my wife has a job, especially since my own wages were cut.

For one thing, many are misinformed about the benefits that associate's at Wal*Mart do have. My wife makes way above minimum wage, she has vacation time, a quarterly bonus, a 401K, stock purchase, holiday pay and health and dental benefits, also short and long term disability. Believe me, she worked many jobs without ANY benefits, so at least here she has them.

I am not a big advocate of Wal*Mart, but they do provide jobs to many thousands of people.

I do wish that they were Unionized, but as of now, people such as my wife can not even mention Union for fear of losing their jobs. Sad, isn't it?

All we can hope for is that the Free Choice Act is passed.

And that they get rid of outsourcing and abolish the NAFTA agreement. That would bring jobs back to the American people.

If you shop at ANY retailer, you will find that the majority of products are from overseas.

This again, is sad. Buy AMERICAN? How? When there is nothing being manufactured here.

Just look at all the empty Industrial parks across the country. We are nothing but a warehouse for products made elsewhere.

And cheap garbage products at that.

Let's make this country UNION strong and AMERICAN PROUD once again!

Fear of job loss is understandable, many are in that position, but if the country was Union strong across the board, then it would be a moot point.
