Third world countries are modernizing and producing like the US did a couple of generations ago. That's the changing world we're living in and we have to adapt. There's no going back to the "old" days and ways.

But what is happening is that the union is alot like the social security plan,there is too much going out,not enough coming in and it is going bankrupt. I have worked for Big R for a short while and the biggest cost to the company was labor. Good luck to all my fellow truckers who are in job crisis and have a good night. I'm going to bed so i can haul chinese made crap tomorrow.
