Default Con-Way 3Q Profit Drops 67%

Quote:
Con-Way's less-than-truckload unit, which carries goods for multiple customers on the same vehicle and its largest business division, reported revenue fell 14% although tonnage per day grew 5.1%.
Revenue fell and tonnage grew..cool. Aggressive pricing will do it. That stock will see $20.00 by Christmas

Quote:
Last month, Sterne Agee said Con-Way is likely to perform well regardless of the economy's performance, because stagnation would make it hard for struggling YRC Worldwide Inc. (YRCW) to survive.
ya right

Just a little insignificant trivia..Okay. I am happy you found something positive about a 67% drop in profit in one of your largest competitors. But, ya know it's so hard to find a trucking co or any company that is doing really well these days. There are a lot of burnt out souls out there. I'll go now and see if I can dig up some more YRC bad news to make your day.
