I cannot believe it has come to this on our once great board . It seems the THEM'S (bad) are so happy ever time bad news come out and they post with glee at the thought of YRC demise . They post great one line threads about how they foreseen the future and it is here . How can anyone be happy at the knowledge that if YRC goes out of business 30 thousand plus TEAMSTERS will be out of work ! How can they post day after day about there hatred at YRC but still be the first ones in line to pick up there pay checks on Friday ? I have meet HUNDREDS if not thousands of GREAT people over my 30 years at Roadway now YRC and I wish them nothing but happiness and pray ever day that someday they also will be able to retire ! THAT'S WHY IM PROUD TO BE ONE OF THE US (good)!!!

Being the official hate Czar I have to do my job, a job I love might I say. Its not so much the pos company as a "hole" but to see all the cute little @$$ kissers and tattletales and those with their noses so high in the air thinking their don't stink while trying to get a good long wiff of managements rearend and how I see these same wads treat junior Men that it will be so sweet to see their big fat @$$e$ suck wind for a change. Plus the fact that they're so damn greedy trying to squeeze an extra 50 cents into their pension that they'll screw themselves right out of one until they're 60-65 over greed when they could go now. hahaha!

I can tell you too, that most of the guys at 875 are positive thinkers like us. In fact, some of them are so confident, that it even scares me, and I don't scare easily! Although I've been laid off for the last year, I stop by the terminal every few months to talk to a few people. It's amazing how most of the guys who have never been laid off in their career are completely complacent as to the hurdles we face and what the company is doing to survive. It's totally like another world!

A lot of the doomers in this forum are just freaking out because they have never been laid off before this year. It's a big deal when you have a family and real bills to pay. I imagine it can really play with your mind.

I'm currently on my fourth lay off with Roadway. The shortest one was four months, and this one is a year with only about 25 call-ins. Since moving to Portland to take this job, I've been keeping things simple by living in my mom's basem . . . uh . . . I mean . . . living in a cheap apartment and not buying much stuff in case this job doesn't pan out. Some people are tied down big time, and they will be heading to their own personal bankruptcy if YRCW goes bankrupt.

Seems like certain moderators ALWAYS keep the YRC board updated with the latest bad news under the guise of "keeping you informed"....thats fine as long as its done on the other boards as well which it is not.
