Have you ever received a false "How's My Driving" Complaint?

Were you able to prove it wrong with dashcam or another means?

Do you believe that people are scamming companies by reporting drivers and demanding pay off in exchange for not turning drivers into authorities?

some well placed black electrical tape or duct tape, takes care of that. even a spare can of black spray paint.

While that is quite funny the company name and unit number would also have to be redacted. I have had two that I can think of that called in on me filing false claims. The first one's story didn't make sense when they said what I did vs where my manifest said I was leaving from and where I was going. The second one claimed that I cut them off when the right lane ended and I moved over into their lane. The fact was that the left lane ended and I remained in my own lane. It sucks to be the last car that doesn't get to cut that truck off when the lane ends.
Both of those used company name and trailer number to file their complaints.

If you want to hear shock and surprise, call that number and report a driver doing a good job and driving professionally.
So...I am not the only one who considered doing that, eh?

almost will never happen. at a long ago employer we were told in orientation, that they do not react to many phone call complaints, unless the caller is willing to give his/her name and contact information.

one reason was to "qualify" the complaint with a follow up call back to them

another was to end the stupid BS from some "lovers' or "others" of the driver.

we were told a girlfriend of a driver called to complain about his driving. when the driver was called in, it was found he and she had a big argument, and she thought she'd get even....

well that didn't work out well for her, and from that day on, positive proof/back up, of a call was needed.
