out in HAR 5-6 days a week.. why do the line haul drivers insist pulling their back trailers 10-18' out of a parking spot ??? please don't tell me,they need to make sure it's hooked.... the city drivers don't drag the 40-53 footers half way out off the dock... maybe,they know when the trailer is hooked ?? hummmmm....

First off destruction of company property should result in your dismissal. Second, u have proven yourself to be abusive. Third and last... On your best day u would not last... I pull the same equipment, tire damage costs us thousands of dollars in lost revenue. Oh, not to say wasted time in shops getting non compliance tires replaced to abusers like yourself...

Our pos hostlers will do it all the time also or drop the trailer while still backing listening to that gear grinding on the ground. No one cares, nothing gets done about it that's why our stuff looks worst than a Swift yard.

Only time I ever dragged a trailer was if a hostler dropped it in the yard with the landing gear crank too close to the next trailer and wasn't around to fix it. But when I was at FedEx, I saw guys routinely drag their rear box 10 feet or more. That's not a tug test, that's abuse.
