yes, they should drive for oh...about 72 hours straight, no stopping for a pee, or coffee or nothing.

I didn't know that there was a minimum driving hour requirement, what, is it like getting a pilot's license now?
I would recommend that pay be raised, entry level, experienced, all positions.

"Raised" to what specific allotment?
WHY just for Newbie Drivers??
Why not a general "raising of driving hours" for the whole Industry?
What about 15 hours?
Is the current 11 hours Drive time not enough?
It used to be 10 with only 8 hours sleeper berth OR drive 5 hours, break for 4, drive 5, sleep/rest for 4, then continue driving AND without the pointless half hour break before the 8th hour driving AND WE HAD LESS WRECKS, so go figure.

NO!! WE need not rally for a "increase in driving hours for new drivers".

CHEERS!!

Stimpy's an idiot..... can you reword the question for me.... I'm confused
Would you support a increase in driving hours just for new drivers?
or
New Drivers to be allowed extra drive time?
or
Regarding SAFETY, would you endorse a new bill instituting new driver hours (for a specific time)?
or
Can you see the benefits to increased driver hours for new/entry level drivers?

CRAZINESS!!

It doesn't matter what they raise the minimum requirement to, if we have idiots training idiots, the only outcome will be more idiots. Hours behind the wheel does not equal hours learning how to drive a truck. If nobody tells them what they did wrong, they will not learn.

Not only does the minimum requirement need to be raised, but the driver trainer requirements need to be revamped.
