Yellow | UPS BUYOUT OF YRC 2017

As I said before , a reliable source out of the southwest area knows first hand, there is a lot of heavy hiring on every part of the system including
management, sales, dock supervisors an so on . UPS needs a least two more quarters to initiate transaction, everything is negotiable including pension, also of course, they waiting for the Teamster President election. Big announcement probably by next Spring. :stirthepot:

I've noticed old YRC tractors in good shape, pulling nice looking old Yellow trailers around Albuquerque lately.

If ups did buy yrc all the people you mentioned would be the first to get their walking papers, in my opinion....

I wonder if it is true then? I heard today that yrc will announce by years end moving corporate headquarters to Jimenez Springs NM?

Maybe some truth to this , as there seems to be a buzz in the air with management lately ?? just remember never say never !! sometimes wishes do come true !!:6788:

Going over the details of merger-buyout for 2017 . Welcome aboard yrcw driver's !!

Ha.... Some of us old farts don't care if they lose their jobs. Me for one. No more concessions. Me anyways. Not from Yellow either. Roadway fart. Pfftt!

UPS will not want the equipment or the leases, they may want a few of the terminals.
So if it happens look for it to be a raid on profitable freight and a fire sale shut down for everything else.................................................
