Let's have some fun for a change, just saw R1913x. Also, D1027x. Both brand new. How about trailers? Without enough detail to pigeon hole your location...what are we seeing and what brand?

The road tractor was a pete, the dolly a wabash.

ST

I had D59* till I had to give up to bring home brand new X101**... I never worried about that old red dolly disappearing lol.. you all can have those d10000 series dollies .. lol

Have seen new orange Ground trailers coming up from Mexico. They pass through your neck of the woods, ST. Open your eyes, Driver... :17142::hide:
Most of Ground's equipment is made by Hyundai Translead. I'm kinda surprised they're still using the drop frame trailers, you'd think they'd have switched to rollerbeds by now.

I just visited Ground's brand new Toronto facility in Woodbridge, and they had a bunch of relatively new '53 vans there. I was told they're used locally, while the pups are for linehaul. Makes me wonder what they need vans for.

From what I've seen they use the drop deck to maximize cube. Also the vans around here are used for drop trailers at customers.

I was looking in a p392xx pup and I see they have smooth ceilings. I've never seen one that didn't have the roof supports visible. I wonder if they are as strong as the older models.

Not sure of the numbers but I've recently seen brand new liftgate pups and X vans with the orange EX at various centers.

Also, at the Volvo plant in Dublin, Va there's brand new Volvo's staged on their yard with both red and orange EX's...guess the build date dictates when they switched to the orange EX. One would think they'd pull the red off and replace it with the orange before the trucks left for delivery but...:idunno:

Did Fedex change the color scheme..
I've seen some ground trailers with an Orange EX (Fedex Express orange). Is that something new?
