Yellow | Teamsters Outraged By Less Than Truckload Company Shuttering Its Doors Unannounced

Another job you put out of buisness !:lmao: I worked 10 really good years at Ryder Then Ryder/ PIE then PIE Nationwide and then Triplex made the list and I had to leave and work for Roadway. Then little did I know Triplex worked at Yellow and I had to quickly retire because I know what's coming! :lmao::grouphug:.Now, because of Triplex putting all of these companies out of buisness all I can drive now are my Winross toy trucks!:tr10driving03::guiness:
At Preston we hired a guy who had worked for 7 different LTL companies that closed. I started looking for a backup plan. Sure enough, we closed....

RB, the PIE terminal was on Red Schoolhouse Road, just over the NJ/NY line. I believe it was originally built by McLean. ConWay was in there for a while and a school bus transportation company is there today. If I'm not mistaken the one you're thinking of was ABF for a while back in the 1980's and was located in Nanuet off West Nyack Road. Estes and I think UPS Freight are in there today.
Roadway was in the larger terminal in the back and ABF rented the smaller one in the front from Roadway. When I quit PIE,I went to work for Roadway at the Nanuet, New York terminal.

The local cartage companies (WI & IL) has trucks on the road with full LME logos. I saw 2 in the last week. Most recently this morning.
