My Brother Ron Langewicz out of XPN passed away this morning from a massive stroke he had a couple weeks ago.
He lost his right leg due to frost bite roughly 2 and a half years ago.He rehabbed his ass off and returned back to conway (xpo) after 1 year. He worked almost a year to the day with a prostetic on line-haul. He suffered a heart attack/stroke in March of this year. He was re-habbing and trying everything he could to return to work,
In August he had to have a pace-maker installed to help his weakening heart. In november he had a massive stroke and was in a hospital for 2 and a half weeks before he passed. My brother was the most loyal father to his children sacrificing everything to help his children at anytime. He was a loyal employee of conway for over 20 years. He is the kind of guy that would give you the shirt off of his back. He was my fellow employee (who trained me to get my CDL 11 years ago) My best friend, and my Big brother. Ron I will miss you with all of my heart as will your Daughters Rebecca and Hannah, Ex wife Mary ,Our Mother Nancy as well as the rest of our family and all of your friends. You were well liked by all and will be missed by many. I love you Ron and look forward to seeing you later as my time ends.God bless you bro and rest in peace. Dave Langewicz

Thank you for that wonderful eulogy about your brother. True love can be seen in the words you just wrote. May God Bless and comfort you and your family in the days to come.

Sounds like a loving father that raised great kids. Sorry for your lost, but he will always be with you and you will see him in your kids and every thing you do...

Sorry to hear of it, he sure had more than his share of hardships to deal with. May he rest in peace.

I used to talk to your brother all the time when he was on linehaul. First met him at the South Bend reship. Then in XCW. He was going through his divorce then. Great guy. And your right, I always felt like he was the guy who would give you the shirt offf his back. This is sad. My thoughts are with your family.

This is some sad ::shit::. I am sorry, man. To have this during the holidays is a total buzzkill. There ain't nothing gonna make any of that any better. Just a reminder to all of us to try harder to be better. Never know when it's your turn.
