High-claim freight you say? F*** it.

Make it fit!
Right?
They are doing the same to New Penn....and we were yelled at for stacking when we made money.
Now it's stack everything ya can and use load bars.....Move freight at sloth speed loading and unloading jam packed stupid trailers....no speed at all....just make it fit...
Dumbest thing I ever seen........................YRC management pushing this nonsense shouldn't be in this business...they should be shiping garbage to landfills.......It would be just as fast to laod the stuff on dump trailers and dump it in the yard and pick thru and restack everything.....maybe some stuff would be ok....not that stuff being ok matters to YRC.

A load bar would have saved the skid from falling. But who has load bars?

You have the same thing as my terminal, guys that you have to watch. I got about 7 that I have to watch. 3 full time and 4 part time. If I catch them loading like this, I chew their butt. But most of the time I don't know for sure who did it, so I just fix it and move on.

Dumbass loader of the day!!! Headstones as topping freight, really?
What? Do you mean that family members won't put a headstone with chips busted off them or a headstone that is broken in half on their loved ones grave site? Geez, talk about picky.

Wow. Based on these pictures, you guys aren't exaggerating when you say that morale is in the toilet and very few care anymore.
Looks to me like pride around there is pretty scarce.

Morale is what it is. No different from when you worked here. It's the newbies. Most of these guys have never been on a forklift. If they have its warehouse work, which we all know doesn't help much. The biggy is they aren't willing to listen and learn. I told one of our newbies to treat this freight as though it was your personal property and he looked at me and said are you serious this is just a job. He had no idea that if he damaged something Holland bought it. It's a hopeless mentality with this generation.

It is this way everywhere .... nobody gives a rats ass about anything except for there paycheck.

I agree, but in my opinion, this younger generation is much worse. Zero ambition, zero pride in their work, and they don't seem to consider anything a career, it's just another job to them. Back in the day, we didn't look at it that way, we looked at things long term.
