now if you going to quote me make sure you use the whole statement. This is what I said "There are lot of former union driver that got the shaft from the union working at ltl carries like this one, and want nothing to do with the teamster."
I never said the union screwed CF drivers, but I sure some did. I said there are many former teamster working at non-union LTL companies that want nothing to do with the union.
You tell me the cf drivers that got the shaft and of course I'll tell you more about me I want there local number I don't need there names.I already have them.

I guess your the expert.Maybe the IBT should get advice from you are you available or is there a waiting list.
well there no surprise side step the question. You say we should be making more than UPS and when your asked why the two of the biggest union carriers aren't you can answer.

What a matter??? Were not asking you your home address or you home barn. We just ask what company do you supposedly driver for. Is that so hard

Here is opening post that started this thread. Pursuant to bullet point No. 1 Recruiting is not allowed. You've been doing alot of that since you joined this thread. Since the thread's main purpose is for XPO employees to discuss issues, the least you can do is have enough respect for employees who simply want to know where you work, if you're retired, or if you're even a truck driver. Right now, the only think I know about you is that you're a union schill and schilling for the union is prohibited.
"Rules:
- this is a discussion thread pertaining ONLY to XPO terminals and union activity. Recruiting, or discussions about other teamster issues is not allowed.
-this thread is for XPO employees to discuss issues. If your not an employee ( I'll know), your coming in as a guest. Act like it. We can have a mature conversation, without name calling, belittling, or other childish behaviour. I also will not allow this thread to be taken over by non employees... period. Any such childish behaviour, and your gone. This is the only warning.
-this thread will be civil. I repeat, civil. Any :horseshit: will not be tolerated.
- no names are to be used. Any threats of "outing" a member will result in an immediate and permanent ban from trucking boards, no exceptions."

I’m done. Roadboss has been blocked from responding on this thread anymore, but he can still read the thread. Veiled threats, talking about yourself in the third person, and pm’s I’m still trying to decipher. We asked simple questions, looking for honesty and the decency to at least tell us who you work for. You refused. Your done.

I deleted my post since Roadboss can't answer in an open form. In no way did anything on that post would have outed me anyway. Since he can't reply in open form I took it down

Interesting article dated a few years but probably more relavent today than in 2012. 100k is not what it use to be.

This data is not complete they never ask any of these people the very big question "how much debt do you have not including your house" I sure almost all these had credit card and auto loan debt.
I not sure what this has to do with the union because last I looked they make less per hour that we do

Going forward, this thread is for xpo employees only. People from outside xpo are no longer permitted to post in this thread.

Thanks.
That’s probably for the best. I’d be ok with them if they could add something to the conversation but it seems like all they want to do is argue and insult us.

People are afraid to ask ,afraid to get laid of afraid of retaliation.and so on Our country's are not as different as you may think,

aren't your labor laws stronger in Canada why is it people don't jump through hoops for unions, because there afraid too. They have no knowledge of organized labor are afraid of being fired or laid of for even talking to union people,Most have never worked under a collective bargaining agreement ,But they buy cars and homes and borrow money these are contracts .The banks loan the money the Fed sets the rates so you and I don't get screwed by some banks.Contracts aren't a bad thing ,Do You have one:452:The days of a boss's word and a handshake are over if he doesn't own the company.
More people are more job scared than ever!!!

I never have and I never will work for a company that doesn't properly compensate me for my labor. To do so would be to cheapen one's own self. I hate it for you that you have agreed to work for what you believe to be unfair wages. It must suck to be you. There are plenty of truck driving jobs out there. Go find one that will compensate you according to your expectations. Otherwise STFU.
Stfu? My opinion is the goal posts have been moved far enough here from where they were that moving on is a real possibility, 2 applications have been filled out if your that concerned about my wages. Not to another ltl company because I think we all agree that going from one to another is a basic lateral move. Wages are a piece among health and welfare. The industry is going backwards on the health and welfare. For most I should say, believe $30 a week at upsf gets you %100 coverage and $100 a month for every year of service paid out in pension but I digress. Don’t feel too bad that I’d like to stop cuts and possibly improve benefits. We just lost another 2 days pay yesterday, some people could care less but forgive me for saying I do

Again , why are we losing in good times? Ltl is going backwards.

And they seems to think we are the same skill set and needing the same compensation as a fork lift driver in a warehouse. If working in a warehouse and driving a truck pay the same, why would anyone ever drive a truck ?
