Not that I can find....not that there aren't any. I'd like to get a few on here, though. DS.

I work at 341 on the dock. I was told about this board a couple of weeks ago.

Welcome to the boards......zman! I'm glad you decided to post. Jump right on in. DS.

Our dock board is seperate from the drivers. I would have to check up front and see how things are with them. On the dock the freight levels have been up and down quite a bit lately. Some of the freight has been arriving later then it use to so there has been a little more work during the day taking away the work that would be done at night. CC's given to the night crew and overtime to the day crew.

Hey zman.......'bout the same at 671. They have been doing some CC and overtime, also. According to the freight forcast from Bill Z., it doesn't look like the late fall and winter is going to be that strong this year. Seems I remember the last election year (2004) it was the same.........heavy pre election and poor after Nov. 7th??? We'll see. DS.

On the website it had claimed 10 road drivers needed in STL , I am not familiar with how many Terminals you guys have here in STL, I know of one in Fenton

Trip C,
Fenton is the only one in STL. A new road driver would probably be on sleepers for a long time.

You are right there. If you are looking at the road, it will definately be sleepers for quite a while.

line haul or city for me is what I would prefer. I am used to doing p & d , thats what I seem to get lol - I wouldnt mind line haul for a while , alot less stops than p & d . But I will do the city if thats all I can find. I have to say no on the road driver.

We have 3 boards in St. Louis. One for the dock only, one for the road drivers, and the third is for city drivers and all the yard positions.

st louis, Zman nice to here about the 341
loaded that door about 6 months ago kinda regular that freight is scary gotta like it.
i was wondering why the freight we sent down there like dometic(long tubes) and home depot stuff was called HUb Freight..
is 341 a hub??

I am not sure why it would be called hub freight. We are not considered one of the hub terminals that I am aware of anyway. I do know that our TM tells all the others to send excess or overflow freight to us and we will keep it moving. Phoenix kind of uses us like a hub. Only a hand full of St. Louis bills and the rest going to various terminals to the east.

i think they call the hubs flow centers now. 341 hasn't been hit as far as i can see to this point. but when they do just hold on for the ride.
