FedEx Freight | CB channel?

lol must be some highly classified BS to have to go that far down the band...lol I prefer to use a Full-duplex device over a half-duplex device.

most guys just run on plain 4 not 2 bands down and if I am not mistaken 26.105 is reg 4 acording to my frequency counter, oh jesus hold the phone the radio police are gonna jump on this one you outlaws on the lower channels

Ya really... Hope you have an FCC license to run on those channels !

no need..

for a license for 80 below, the upper channels might be questionable?? Most all the am drivers for east run 26105 due too the mexicans run us off 40 below and too much noise on reg 4 (27005 I think) so we adopted 26105 for those reasons. When skip is rollin it's pretty cool to talk to people all around the system. I have not got a clue what they run on pm side, cause we have drivers that run all 40 not just channel 4 like we use too. Channel 4 was made the company channel about 1986 or so and with the air traffic that is out there today we just keep going lower too get away from it all. Besides to much stupidity and BS on the big time super truckers channel!!!! Ya'll out west tune into 26105 every now and again and see if skip is rollin and give us a shout!!

Minor correction; regular 4 is 27.005,
26.105 is 2 bands down or 80 below reg 4.
FXFE= Most of us who run daytime runs
run 26.105 to getaway from all the noise.
Most of the night time drivers still run reg 4
(27.005).

:joke: Heck Stretch I'm surprised your old Johnson radio has all of those channels Seeing that you just got the hum out of it.lol
See you Tuesday.

sorry..

I forgot the . foregive me in this political correct and diverse world we live in. :annoyed:
:soapbox: Life was so much better before we had to be political correct and have all this diversity!!!

It doesn't matter to me much, all I have around me is Canucks that are all over the road. My form of communication doesn't include the radio to much! Either they don't understand or acknowledge. eh?

Way out west, we run on channel 2. Unless you are out of the L.A. basin, then you run on channel 33. Or if you are a big strapper chicken hauler you use 26.845 or some other Billy Big Rigger frequency. Too much for me. I'll stick to my little 4 watt Cobra.

I run my CB with the selector switch in the "off" position. The cell phone works better....free nights and weekends, 10-4? Kick it on back.

I run my cb even if I'm not running with someone or talking on it, it can and has saved me grief.
I was in the left lane getting ready to pass another vehicle when I hear " he's headed east in the west bound lane!" of course I ask where nd they tell me, about 1 mile ahead of me coming at me in the hammer lane, I slow and move right, over the hill he comes and never even slows. A bad accident avoided thanks to the cb, I'll always run one.

Same here FM,,, I hate running on 19, but I do when running alone, recently they (truckers) told me the road home was shut down for several hours due to a wreck and downed power pole. So I was able to pull over, call central, and take a back road home. Saved me and the freight several hours.
