Holland | Merger of brands rumor in KC.

Who cares about a merger of brands? Each brand sucks in it's own magnificent way now.

at this point with the company devalued so much from what their combined net worth was historically they cant do much worse, they would lose customers and drivers no doubt but it wouldnt be catastophic.

remember this -15% old propaganda , so don't fall for it again in 2019 !

No, Wong you got that wrong. I heard (and this is right out of the breakroom) that we'll be paired up like 2 men in a truck.
Using a formula that will be agreed on by all parties, (time at the regional, time at yrc, time on the road, time in the city,
The guy with the bigger shoe size gets to drive or ride the jumpseat. If its a yrc tractor, Since they can't afford jump seats,
the company will provide a seat cushion. The last one hoffa wouldn't budge on. I wear a 10 and a half, so maybe we'll end up together. I'll drive the palletjack.

Red Star was using Holland trailers for years up and down the east coast.
We had them at Holland. I miss those red star trailers. Especially loved having to stand on the catwalk to hook up the hoses.
and weren't they like 70 inches wide and 14 ft tall? Something to do with roads only being 8 feet wide out east.:19:

Also by the time you got off the cat walk the air lines would already have fallen off!!

Are they insane there is still a big nasty rivalry between Roadway and Yellow at most larger terminals 309 Chicago Hts especially guys still get into fights over it almost a decade later when we first merged we had over a thousand Road Drivers now were under 500 now add Holland drivers in the mix too who never drive doubles or teams oh my
